Our special baby
- Nicola and Gary
- On the 10th of January 2009, our beautiful baby boy Theo was born. He arrived 8 weeks early and with a condition called exomphalos. We shared 3 wonderful weeks with him but on the 30th of Jan he left this world to go to another. The battle was just too great for such a little person. Our lives will never be the same but he is always with us in our hearts and will never be forgotten. 'He touched more hearts than many in a lifetime'

I pray that he is at peace and have no doubt he will be looking over his loving family in the journey ahead.

ReplyDeleteNeil and I were so sad to learn about the heartache you've both being going through.
Simon kindly gave us this address, and I've being reading all your messages over the last day or so. Words can't describe how sorry we are for you both- we want you to know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. I've been sitting here for ages trying to compose a message, sometimes words just don't seem to do the job.
The last picture is so touching, and shows a connection between mother and baby that I'm sure will always be there. You are both so brave, and the dedication to your children is so very clear for all to see.
Although our paths dont seem to cross very often, please remember that we are always here if you need anything.

Thank you, my friends, for sharing such a personal and precious time with us. The photo is simply beautiful, and the bond is clear to see, and nothing - nothing - can ever sever that bond, Nic and Gary. As others have said, it's taken me days to write this as words just seem so trivial, but we have thought about you all day and night, and are so proud to have known Theo. He was a light that shone for such a brief time, but a light that will never be extinguished simply because too many people will never forget him.
